Ibrahim Imad is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in hospitality, business management, and economic development. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Asian University in Thailand, with concentrations in Managerial Accounting, Strategic Management, and International Business Law. Additionally, he earned a BA in Hotel & Tourism Management and a BTEC National Diploma in Hotel Management and Tourism Studies from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, affiliated with Birmingham University, UK.

Imad’s career in the hospitality industry is highlighted by his role as Resident Manager at Furaveri Island Resort and Spa since 2016, where he is responsible for operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. His duties include overseeing property maintenance, ensuring optimal performance of staff and equipment, and maintaining high standards of safety and security.

Previously, Imad served as the Manager at the Ministry of Economic Development’s Business Center in Kulhudhufushi, where he provided coaching and training to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). He also played a key role in developing business plans, conducting awareness programs, and supporting local community business development.

His experience extends to the Ministry of Human Resource Youth and Sports as a Human Resource Specialist, where he developed national competency standards and monitored training programs. In the private sector, he has held various managerial positions, including Duty Manager at Fullmoon Maldives and Assistant Guest Service Manager at Baros Maldives.

Imad’s leadership and operational expertise are complemented by his academic credentials and language skills. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Asian University in Thailand and a BA in Hotel & Tourism Management along with a BTEC National Diploma in Hotel Management and Tourism Studies from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, affiliated with Birmingham University, UK.
